We are Mandy and Jamie Cummings, professional improvisors, storytellers, and corporate trainers.
We’ve performed for over two decades on stages across New York City and the country. That’s how we met, married, had two kids, and created our third child: Cummings Coaching (if you don’t count our cat, whom we adopted). Our services distill the powerful communication strategies that careers on stage and screen have given us. We demystify these concepts and connect them with practical workplace skills.
We believe in the power of experiential learning.
We love to upend expectations of how impactful experiential training can be — and how quickly trust can be built among a room full of strangers. We give people the opportunity to step outside their daily routines and experience one another as curious, playful, and endlessly resourceful. We believe that kind of shared experience is an antidote to apathy and a pathway to empathy.
